Just a short post to say that I am very heavily under the weather, with bronchitis for the third winter running. It's funny (not ha-ha funny, but strange-funny) how in tune our bodies are with the changing seasons. If it's February, it must be Bronchitis Time for me. It makes me worry even more about climate change and what havoc it will wreak on our bodies in a future filled with freaky weather. As Neil Finn (one of my favorite songwriters) wrote, "Everywhere you go, you always take the weather with you." I don't think he was talking about climate change or bronchitis, but far be it from me to miss an opportunity to plug Neil Finn.
It's blizzarding outside, but I'm inside with ginger ale and chicken noodle soup, just like I had when I was a child, home from school with a cold. The comforts of childhood...the only thing missing is Mom.

Oh Joy! So sorry to hear you are ill. Good weekend to stay snuggled up inside. Please feel better soon. Betsy

Feel better soon, Joy! BTW: I used to enjoy the same comfort foods when I was sick as a kid. :-)

Sorry that you are under the weather. Let us know if you need anything. And, even in my 40s, I still want my Mom when I am sick!

Sounds like you live in the Northeast like me. (We have snow too). Bronchitis stinks. I hope you feel better! I know what you mean about bodies being in tune- I always get sinus infections around Christmas. I usually get the stomach bug around Valentine's Day.. I am keeping my fingers crossed..
