Even though springtime gets all the credit for blooming blossoms, I must say that I'm completely dazzled by the fall flowers popping up everywhere! It's not just the leaves that are turning beautiful colors, that's for sure. So, here's my little photographic tribute to the fall flowers in all their glory!
I'd forgotten that Hydrangeas bloom in the fall around here. (I'm grateful that they reminded me!)
Our Rose of Sharon bushes are bursting with pink blossoms and buzzing with bees (which makes me happy, because bees are sadly on the decline and we need them!). This is the view, below, from our living room window, from the end of August to mid-September...
Delilah loves a pretty view, too--here she is, below, at her Grandma's house, peeking at the Hibiscus...
Okay, I admit she was checking out the neighbor's dog across the street. But she does love to stop and smell the roses, too!
How 'bout you? What's blooming in your neck of the woods? Do tell!
